[ It is really weird to hear Vanitas say that, and even sound like he means it. ]

Okay, you should meet up with someone as soon as you can. I'm at the hospital right now, so we're not too far from each other. Can we meet up?

[ He adds a little hopefulness to the question, and then goes on to 'hastily' explain. It is embarrassing, but he more wants Ventus to feel like he'd be helping him out. Maybe that way he can keep hold of Vanitas when he comes back and not watch him disappear into the town for too long. ]

I mean, yeah, it'd probably be good to have some help with my bags and stuff. I can carry them, but- well, it's more that I can't feel anything so I'm having a rough time manipulate anything.

[ On the plus side, Ventus still actually trusts people? But he is also too trusting. ]

*Its been awhile since he tried this, but with that weird need to share today...well he might as well. Maybe someone will get something from it.

Yeah, it's a couple days south. Maybe three. If you use the maintenance tunnels, I can meet you in there? But you don't need to come all the way to the ice caves, I wanted to head to the residential area anyway.

[ Ventus is not wrong that Gabriel doesn't like being alone- that might be more important than any of his rationalizations for meeting up. ]

I think I might be able to reach one of the houses that connect to maintenance tunnel soon. [ He thinks so at least. He needs to check the map. ]

So, we can probably see each other soon. [ There's a pause. ] Do you mind if I tell Billy? He seems worried about his friend. You know, Vanitas. [ His voice lowers at the end there. Almost like something might be wrong there. ]

You sound a little surprised that Vanitas has people worried about him.

Okay, I will. [ He'll ask Billy about the awkward to make sure he's okay.

The question about Vanitas has him thinking though. ]

Hmm. I don't know how to explain it. It feels like something is wrong with it? I don't know if it's that people are worried or just the name itself. [ It feels like something bad may be connected to it. ]

[ Yeah, that tells him what's going on, at least. ]

It's probably a little of both. This place is rough on our minds, especially when we first get here. Don't worry, I'm sure it'll get clearer after a few days.

Yeah, it's been pretty rough on me. But maybe that was what I needed- I wasn't exactly a great person back home.

This place- if nothing else, it's given me some perspective. It's pushed me to realize what's real, what I'm in control of, and what's important. Doesn't hurt that I've made some friends, too.
